ABOUT ME
Hello! I am a trumpet player, writer, and interdisciplinary environmentalist in the NYC area. I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in trumpet performance and environmental and sustainability studies under Professor Neal Berntsen, Assistant Principal trumpet of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

In school, I was involved in all CMU major ensembles, chamber music, and the student-led musical theater group Scotch 'n' Soda. Since moving to the city, I freelance in the area playing classical, commercial, theater, recording sessions, and more. I recently recorded with Fox on his album Cosmic Caravan (available on Spotify and Apple Music).

As part of the larger music community, I volunteer with the Future in Music Program and at the recent International Women’s Brass Conference. I am a former mentee of the Maestra Music program and was on the executive team of the Student Advisory Board of the CMU School of Music where I was a student representative advocating for effective community and student representation within the school.

Outside of music, I am a writer and explore social attitudes towards the environment and US agricultural systems. In my free time, I enjoy baking sourdough, knitting, Tiny Desk Concerts, and late-night comedy.
